ZIPRIDER® HYBRID

ZIPRIDER® TANDEM TROLLEY (NO BRAKING) with ZIPRIDER® HARNESS

Oftentimes we are asked to build a ZipRider® zip line ride that is either relatively flat (with little vertical drop from the top tower to the bottom tower), or an exceptionally long zip line that has a long, flat run out. Our ZipRider® and ZipTour® trolleys provide too much brake friction in these scenarios, so we designed a new free-wheeling trolley we call the ZipRider® Tandem Trolley that integrates with our proprietary ZipRider® harness. We also invented and patented a new trolley capture and spring dampening system that brings the customers to a smooth stop, while also preventing them from being pushed back out onto the line after the springs rebound. The ZipRider® we installed at the Parque De Aventura Barrancas del Cobre (Copper Canyon, Chihuahua, Mexico) is a ZipRider® Hybrid that is one and a half mile long! It is currently the longest zip line on the planet. We also installed a ZipRider® Hybrid across the Royal Gorge in Colorado, parallel to the Royal Gorge Bridge.
