Your adventure begins at Snow King’s mid‑station activity center, where guests gear up and learn to operate the self‑braking ZipTour® trolley. A short Demo Zip provides a chance to practice before stepping onto the first major span of the tour.
The opening flight, the Rafferty Ripper, launches from the mid‑mountain ridge and descends toward the base area, soaring above the lower slopes and offering clear views of the National Elk Refuge and the Gros Ventre Range. After landing, guests board the gondola for a scenic ride to the summit — a moment to take in the Tetons, the valley floor, and the entire Snow King ridgeline from above.
At the top, the tour reaches its defining moment. The Summit Sender is the steepest ZipTour® span in North America, dropping more than 1,000 vertical feet at a dramatic 36% grade. Riders soar high above the mountainside as Jackson unfolds below, with the Tetons to the northwest and the rugged Wyoming landscape stretching to the horizon. It’s a rare combination of gradient, elevation, scenery — and a little pucker factor — a mountain flight that feels both daring and beautifully composed.
