Ziptour®
Mt. Bachelor, Bend, oregon
An experience unlike anything else—this is the Mt. Bachelor ZipTour®. Fly high above the mountain, soar among the trees, and feel the wind rush past as you descend three epic stages from the upper mountain to the base area.
The Mt. Bachelor ZipTour® adds a true high-alpine flight to one of the Northwest’s premier mountain destinations. This dual-line, three-span tour drops nearly 1,400 vertical feet along the slopes of an extinct volcano, making it one of the region’s steepest, fastest, and highest-elevation zip adventures. Riders fly over open bowls, off-piste ski terrain, and Central Oregon’s unique volcanic landscape with sweeping views of the Three Sisters, Broken Top, and neighboring Cascade peaks.

Span 1 — Tumalo Traverse
The first span, Tumalo Traverse, launches from roughly 7,800 feet above the treeline and drops 255 vertical feet over a rollercoaster-like landscape of ridges and ravines toward the Skyline lift. Below, the volcanic terrain is alive with mountain bikers on flow trails, while Tumalo Mountain and Paulina Peak frame the horizon.
Span 2 — South Sister Slide
The second span, South Sister Slide, dives back into the forest and aims riders toward an awe-inspiring view of the Three Sisters volcanic peaks. This line travels 1,670 feet and drops another 263 feet in elevation, combining speed with some of the most scenic sightlines on the tour.
Span 3 — Broken Top Drop
The grand finale, Broken Top Drop, is the longest, steepest, and fastest segment of the Mt. Bachelor ZipTour®. Spanning 3,443 feet with an 866-foot vertical plunge, it is one of the most impressive zip line spans in the Northwest. Riders fly down the mountainside with Broken Top and the Three Sisters as a dramatic backdrop, passing above the bike park before touching down at the base area.
Together, these three spans create a high-alpine, half-day adventure that blends big-mountain scenery, volcanic terrain, and rider-controlled speed. For visitors to Bend and Central Oregon, the Mt. Bachelor ZipTour® is a defining summer experience on one of the region’s most iconic peaks.
