Olympic Park adds zip lines to its 'Gravity Zone' May 25th 2004

The Utah Olympic Park has been giving visitors a taste of an Olympic experience for years with its public bobsled rides. While those rides remain as adrenaline-rich as ever, the park is taking things up a notch.

This is going to be an exciting summer! May 17th 2004

We are installing two new ZipRiders right here in Utah, as well as expanding the current two cable ride at the Park City Mountain Resort to a four cable ride. Want to race three of your friends down the 2,300 foot long zip line span, deemed the world’s longest zip line? Come visit the Park City Mountain Resort this summer!

Also joining the ZipRider club is the Snowbird Resort, located 20 minutes from Salt Lake City. We will be installing a ZipRider that launches from a fifty foot tower! The new ride will be located in the center of activity at the base of the Snowbird resort, and is the perfect adventure for guests of all ages.

Finally, the Utah Olympic Sports Park has purchased not one but TWO ZipRiders, which will come together at a single landing tower. The bigger of the two ZipRiders begins with a 33% grade drop, and will parallel the 120 meter ski jump down to its run out, giving the guest a unique glimpse of what the athletes experience in training and competition. If you would like to fly like the Nordic jumpers, or experience the sport of bobsledding, come visit the Utah Olympic Sports Park located close to Kimball Junction in Park City, Utah.

Where else but Utah can you experience three completely different zip line rides? Come to Park City for a visit, and we’ll give you the tour of our three ZipRider rides.
